Stikii – A Busy Weekend Ahead

Wow, Stikii has a super busy weekend ahead full of fun and exciting events! This coming Saturday, April 28, Stikii will be participating in the 17th Annual Celebrate Children Festival! The event will take place at the Mall of Monroe (2121 North Monroe Street, Monroe, MI 48162) from 10:00am – 2:00pm and is sure to be a wonderful experience.

Celebrate children is one of the areas larges early childhood focused events. Close to 2,500 families will experience the fun and joy of this child-driven event. Monroe County kids and their families will enjoy all sorts of FREE activities together while celebrating young children as a wonderful and valuable part of the local community. Helpful information about local services will also be provided, along with fun-filled, hands-on projects for the children to participate in lead by vendors.

During the event, children will be entertained with crafts, preschool classroom skits, music, dancing and so much more! Last year, nearly 3,500 people were attended the event and about 1,500 of those were children under the age of 10. This year, the organization is expecting an even better turnout and is adding an additional stage of events to the schedule with ongoing entertainment all day long. The Kiwanis Club of Monroe will be distributing free books and parents will receive valuable information from various agencies, organizations, groups and businesses dedicated to young kids.
